Secret’s out, Pittsburgh. We’re finally able to share this thing with you, and we are over-the-moon ecstatic. Our pilot episode of “Steel City Rehab” is coming in hot on HGTV — Sunday, April 30 at noon EST.

Wait. What? Trust us — we’re still recovering from the initial shock of it all ourselves. In conjunction with an incredibly talented crew of producers and film extraordinaires from Los Angeles’ Bodega Pictures, the VIPs at HGTV ordered a pilot of a home-renovation-based reality show starring K Bennett Development Group and our sister company, Lifespace Pittsburgh.

Led by husband-wife team and company founders Kris and Tara Bennett, the hourlong episode details the trials, tribulations, and successes of residential remodeling, right here in Pittsburgh. As they set out to lock down a rehab-worthy home in Friendship, bow-tie-clad Lifespace co-owner and real estate expert Jesse Wig weighs in. Leading the construction charge, KBDG project manager Cameron Nicols keeps a level head when inevitable setbacks arise. Spoilers: We laugh, we disagree, we joke at Jesse’s expense. Something you may have anticipated: Pittsburgh is actually even more photogenic than you ever thought it was.

Now, we know you’ve got questions, and we have answers. Thing is, you’ll need cable to hear them. Set those DVRs to record, peeps, ’cause “Steel City Rehab” hits HGTV at 12 p.m. sharp on April 30. No judgment here if you’re couch-chilling in your PJs, either. It’s a Sunday, after all, and we know what goes down in the ‘Burgh on Saturday night.

Right here’s a huge ol’ THANK YOU to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You guys have blown us away with your support, and we’re extraordinarily grateful to share this with you. Cheers, Steel City.
Update: We got pretty professional with a press release on April 25. You can read it here.
